When we first came into class today, Ms. Dordoni had us write our homework down in our Double Entry Journals as our Do Now. She thoroughly explained the homework for us then showed us how we can find and use relevant websites and images. Then Ms. Dordoni explained our next point of business: writing our comparative essays on 2-3 myths that we learned about. We had to write 3 paragraphs according to this slide. We did this for the rest of class, which was about 20 minutes, and we will have more time to work on the essay tomorrow.
This class period was very important to our learning. When Ms. Dordoni explained the Do Now / homework, she was helping us to understand the assignment. We also were taught a very important skill for the future: learning how to make our search more relevant. We can use this very important skill when we are doing some sort of a school project, or even a personal project. This was a very important class for our learning.
Creation Myths are very closely related to Social Studies (and Science). They show us how the human race as a whole has no single perspective, just as the human race as individuals have many different perspectives that depends on different factors. We all have our own viewpoint based on our background and the way we think, and that can affect our decisions such as, in this case, myths.

DUE TOMORROW: Tonight we have to do a Double Entry Journal thingy that involves us making a chart, notes, illustrations, or something to tell:

DUE TOMORROW: Tonight we have to do a Double Entry Journal thingy that involves us making a chart, notes, illustrations, or something to tell:

- Both similarities and differences between homo habilis, homo erectus, and homo sapiens (definition and what they can do that distinguishes one from the other)
- When they existed (provide a timeline(s))
- Sources (at least 2) (citations)
