Class started with our double entry journal the question was “what is a creation myth?” Students had to have their homework out on their desks because they were being checked. We discussed creation myths as a group. We then went over the Edmodo question and response assignment, which is due Monday morning by 8:00 am. Ms. Dordoni introduced the artifacts project, which is due on Wednesday September 24th.
Ms. Dordoni set up an activity for my classmates to move around and sit at different tables and they’re organized by different myths. On the chromebooks my classmates were watching a video all on different myths. There were for example Zulu, Chinese, Egyptian, and others. After, my classmates had to make an identity chart for each myth.
This is important to social studies because it talks about different perspectives on how humans were created, this is important to learn about because it teaches us about our ancestors and how they lived.
