Class Started with completing our double entry journals, we talked about were we think we came from. I believe that we came from apes that evolved because of the ever changing Earth. The first thing that we did was split into four corners and went over the suspension report homework with our peers. We then came back as a group and discussed our ideas with the whole class by voluntarily standing up and sharing (no hand discussion).
After discussing the suspension report homework we watched a video about The History of the World in Seven Minutes.

After discussing the suspension report homework we watched a video about The History of the World in Seven Minutes.
This video is important to our learning because it talks about our ancestors and how our modern world was formed. Finally we took notes on the evolution of man from the video. We ended class with a discussion of what happen in that last 15,000 years.I believe the video included key points from our evolution such as human paintings on walls, working with metals, making jewelry, and farming. What we did in class relates to social studies because we talked about the past and what formed us.

*The planet of our solar system including Earth, were created at the same time as our sun about 4.6 billion years ago.
*250 million years ago, continental plates, which made up Earth's crust, were joined in a super continent, Pangaea
*200,000 to 250,000 years ago, bands of homo sapiens, the ancestor of all modern humans, appeared in Africa.
Homework:
