Upon entering the classroom the following questions on the board
Did slaves build the Great Pyramid at Giza?
We used 5 different documents to decided whether or not we believed slaves build the pyramid. Personally I have ambivalent feelings as to who built the pyramid. Both sides did not have equal amounts of evidence to make me feel a certain way. Like me many people in our class felt that there was not a significant amount of proof from each side to make up our minds. One huge question that came up in our class was what makes this a reliable source? So, now I’m asking you, what do you think makes a source reliable?
Homework due today:
Turn in completed Organizing and Evaluation the Evidence sheet (other side of document A&B)
Homework due tomorrow:

Upon entering the classroom the following questions on the board
- Who has a different perspective?
- Who has not had a chance to speak?
- Where do you find evidence for that in the text?
- Can you clarify what you mean by that?
- How does that relate to what (someone else) said?
- Is there something in the text that is unclear to you?
