Class started with a do now which had to be completed in our double-entry journals. We had to answer the question, “what is a comparative essay?” and we then discussed our responses. Then, we discussed our feelings and current states of mind. After that, Ms. Dordoni informed the class which students will be blogging this week and posting the Edmodo questions by Thursday evening. Mr. Parke reminded the class that last week’s Edmodo response homework is due by 8 am tomorrow morning and the 2 blog comment homework assignment is due tomorrow. Ms. Dordoni then discussed what criteria are needed to have a very good blog entry.
Some of the criteria includes:
Next Ms.Dordoni gave us instructions that we were going to finish filling out our charts based on our creation myths. These are the charts we started last Monday September 22. We then split into 4 groups since there was an average of 4 people doing each creation myth.
The last thing we did was talk about what we would be doing next class. This is important to learn because it is good to discover about what people thought about the world before google and modern science could explain most of what we wonder. This is important to social studies because you must learn about other cultures.
